Working Under Chef Vince

The story develops through conversations, work shifts, and interactions with objects around the restaurant. Rody spends his days serving customers while learning more about Vince and the establishment. Between shifts, players can investigate different rooms, examine suspicious details, and uncover information connected to the characters. What begins as a restaurant job gradually develops into a horror story involving personal relationships, obsession, and disturbing secrets.

Managing Orders and Earning Tips

A large part of the gameplay involves completing restaurant tasks within a limited amount of time. Customers arrive, take their seats, and wait for their meals. Rody must collect orders, send them to the kitchen, deliver prepared dishes, and clean tables. Efficient service helps the player earn money and complete each workday. Mistakes and delays can make it harder to reach the required earnings.

The main gameplay activities include:

·         Welcome customers and guide them to tables.

·         Take orders and deliver tickets to the kitchen.

·         Collect prepared meals from the service window.

·         Serve dishes before customers lose patience.

·         Clear tables and dispose of accumulated trash.

·         Earn tips and purchase useful items.

·         Explore the restaurant between work shifts.

·         Talk to characters and investigate unusual events.

Seven Days and Four Possible Endings

Dead Plate is divided into a week of restaurant shifts, with each day introducing new opportunities to interact with the environment and characters. The game also includes story sequences that use dialogue, illustrations, and point-and-click interactions. Certain conversations and actions influence the direction of the story. There are four possible endings, and reaching them requires different decisions during the week and its final events.

To play Dead Plate, control Rody as he moves around the restaurant and interacts with customers, tables, and objects. Follow the service routine during working hours, collect enough money, and explore when new areas or interactions become available. Pay attention to conversations with Vince and investigate details that seem connected to the story. Players who want to discover every ending must revisit earlier decisions, try different interactions, and observe how their choices affect the final outcome.
